SOMATIC COACHING

+

BREATHWORK

Each session has its own rhythm. We begin with where you are now- what‘s in your mind, heart, spirit and body. Then we move into the deeper breathwork, the part that opens the body, quiets the mind, and lets something honest come forward. We end with grounding and integration so the work stays with you, not just in the room but in your actual life.

The Physiology Behind the Work

My somatic coaching and breathwork practice is rooted in nervous-system awareness — the science of how the body regulates safety, stress, and connection.

The nervous system shapes how we move through the world: how we respond to stress, connect with others, and recover from challenge. Our nervous systems are constantly scanning for cues of safety or danger — it’s what gives you that gut feeling when something feels off. That subtle intuition is your physiology reading the world before your mind catches up. When threat is sensed — the system shifts into these protective states:

Fight or flight: the body mobilizes to act or escape.

Freeze or shutdown: the body quiets itself to stay safe.

These responses are intelligent — they keep us alive.

Yet when stress becomes chronic, cortisol stays, tension builds, and the body can’t rest. Over time, this affects everything: mood, sleep, digestion, focus, capacity for connection and even our health.

The good news is that the nervous system is adaptable. With practice and awareness — and by weaving tools into your day-to-day life — a positive shifts become real and noticeable. It starts to reshape how you move through the world, showing you that things don’t have to remain the same.

Change isn’t abstract — it’s built through awareness, practice, and breath.

Working With All of You

Breathwork goes beyond physiology. Yes, it supports the nervous system- but it also reaches into the deeper layers of who we are. In this work, we acknowledge the whole system: the physical body, the emotional body, the mental body, the energetic body, and the spiritual body. These aren’t abstract concepts; they’re simply different ways humans experience themselves.

Breathwork helps the first three layers- physical, emotional, and mental- settle and release. When those soften, something else naturally opens. People often access intuition, clarity, subtle energetic movement, or a sense of connection that’s hard to explain but unmistakably real.

Even with all of this, we always return to the physical body- because grounding in the body creates balance. It’s the anchor that allows everything else- energy, clarity, spirit, presence- to integrate in a way that feels safe and steady.
